Owens Realty Capital announced today that they have broken ground on construction for a new full-service Starbucks® located at 12011 University Boulevard. The new Starbucks is on schedule to be open and fully functional in November 2018. There will be two access points to the Starbucks location with one on University Boulevard and the other on High Tech Avenue. Starbucks considered the high traffic counts, and the proximity to the University and the Quadrangle Business Park when selecting this prime corner site.

The acre parcel on which the Starbucks is being built was a portion of what was originally a part of the site of the Palladium office building which sits directly to the east and is owned by Owens Realty Capital. Owens Realty Capital purchased the 73,000 SF Palladium office building in 2015.

Brett Hartung and Andy Hawkins of Foundry Commercial represented the owners in procuring the Starbucks lease.

Owens Realty Capital currently owns a portfolio of over $150,000,000 worth of commercial real estate in Central Florida and is actively seeking new investment opportunities.
